Join Financial Therapist Haylie Castillo for a 1.5-hour overhaul of everything you thought was normal about how therapists feel about money. We'll redefine the unique relationships helpers and healers have to money, business, and taxes—including what we all can do about it! Haylie will demystify behaviors and habits around money that you’ve probably just accepted as “normal” as we detox from all the shame, guilt, and self-doubt imposed on us by the dominant economic systems in which we operate. You'll get practices and frameworks for change—but the biggest gift by far will be the ability to navigate tax season this year with joy and resilience. 1.5 CEUs. Presenter: Haylie Castillo (she/her) is a financial therapist whose passion is to see people find freedom and agency through healing their relationship with money. As a therapist in private practice, she understands the unique challenges of building a small business while navigating your own relationship with money. As a LSWAIC and a certified financial therapist, Haylie works from a trauma-informed, anti-oppression lens to create a shame-free space for her clients to heal from financial trauma and explore their emotions around money, supporting them in building a healthy relationship with money by decreasing shame and increasing self-trust around their finances. Through disrupting the default beliefs around money and success, Haylie has a gift for helping people envision a new reality for themselves, their communities, and the world - one in which they have a sense of peace, joy, and ease around money. She has a degree in communication and a Master’s in Social Work with a certificate in Financial Therapy. When she is not in the office, she can be found making memories with her partner and their two little boys, spending time at the beach, binge watching the latest season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, or doing deep dives into astrology.
